Honey – Types of Honey
The honey that is extracted by Himherbs is mainly the Multiflora and Uniflora, depending on the type of flowers the bees visit.
Multiflora: At times it becomes difficult to exactly discern the exact source of the honey. It all depends on the kind of flowers that the bee has visited. In circumstances, where there are many kinds of flowers with no particular species dominating, and with the sugar concentration of all these flowers being the same, bees will visit all of them indiscriminately and make honey. The honey that is then extracted is generally of the Multiflora kind. Our Himalayan Amrit Pure(Multiflora) honey is a unique blend of nectars sourced from the finest apiaries strewn across the majestic mountains of Himalayan and Dauladhar ranges, this happens in the peak season beginning from April
Uniflora: Of course, when a predominant area has only one species of flowers, the honey extracted is that of the Uniflora variety. This honey generally acquires the mild taste and smell of the fruit or flower it has bred on and has a high medicinal value. Himalayan Amrit Pure(Uniflora) honey is a rare delicious white honey sourced from the flowers of Plactranthus Rugosus in the months September and October from the hills of Rohru and Chamba of Himachal Pradesh.
